Requirements

Dancers must be ages 9+ with at least 3 years of tap experience

Bring an 8.5x11 or 8x10 inch print of headshot to auditions

Execute the 2024-25 contract

All Parents/Guardians of dancers under the age of 18 and adults auditioning for the team MUST attend the informational meeting on August 2 from 6-7pm

Past Tap’d Out dancers must audition for the new season.

Virtual Auditions

While we strive to give every dancer an opportunity to shine with Tap'd Out, we highly encourage in-person auditions for a better chance of making the company. During live auditions, our coaches get to know your adaptability and teachability on top of your technique and skill.

If virtual auditions are your only option, you can register online for any weekend in July. During your chosen weekend, you will receive an email with a choreography tutorial on Friday morning. You will need to learn the choreography and submit a performance ready video of the routine and all other required materials by Sunday at 11:59pm for consideration. Late submissions will not be considered. To maintain the integrity of auditions, please do not share the choreography video with anyone.
